Gathering to develop trusting relationships among the religious leaders of our community.
Interfaith Leaders Coalition (ILC) is a monthly gathering of religious leaders from the greater La Crosse area representing diverse denominations and faith traditions. ILC was founded by (now-retired) Rev. Mark Solyst in 2016.
The ILC has three main purposes:
1. We gather to develop trusting relationships among faith leaders in our community.
2. We gather to enhance communication among faith leaders discussing areas of common concern.
3. We gather to provide spiritual leadership for our communities, especially during times of crisis.
The ILC also helps to coordinate the Community Conversations program hosted by English Lutheran Church. The ILC meets at 1:15pm on the third Wednesday of the month following the Community Conversations. Currently we are meeting on Zoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meetings are open to local clergy and faith leaders. For more information or to participate, contact the interim coordinator:
